Our Story
Fapemo Grow was born on a journey—one of many across the vibrant landscapes of Ghana, where we witnessed the tireless work of farmers and the heartbreaking losses they faced. In field after field, we saw the fruits of their labour left to waste from overproduction, or worse, spoiled for lack of reliable market access. This is where our vision took root: a vision to bridge the gap between farmers and markets by giving them the tools, support, and opportunities they deserve.
We understood that for smallholder farmers, technology could be transformative. With the right resources, farmers could add value to their crops, preserve their harvests, and ultimately earn fair prices for their work. This vision led to the foundation of Fapemo Grow, an initiative grounded in technology, market access, and sustainable development for African farmers.
In the past year, we have proudly partnered with over 3,000 farmers across 15 regions, equipping them with advanced training, mechanisation, and digital tools that make their work more resilient, productive, and profitable. We are committed to creating value that lasts, to reduce post-harvest losses and enhance the market value of every crop our farmers grow.
Our work doesn’t just benefit farmers—it uplifts entire communities. By supporting agriculture, we’re helping to strengthen the backbone of Ghana and many African nations that rely heavily on farming. At Fapemo Grow, we believe that empowering smallholder farmers is more than a mission; it’s a movement that can boost economies, drive sustainable growth, and build a brighter future for generations to come.
